CrownCare (“CrownCare,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how CrownCare collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the CrownCare mobile app, website, and related services.

1. Information We Collect

CrownCare may collect information you provide directly, including:

• Name, email address, and account information
• Hair profile information such as hair type, porosity, goals, concerns, and routine preferences
• Hair journey photos, scalp photos, visual diary entries, and progress images
• Treatment logs, routine logs, product notes, product label scan information, and care history
• Nutrition or wellness-related logs you choose to enter, such as water intake or supplement tracking
• Journal entries, notes, tags, and concerns you choose to save
• Stylist codes, connected stylist information, and sharing preferences
• Subscription, payment, and account status information

CrownCare may also collect technical information, including:

• Device type, app version, operating system, crash logs, diagnostics, and usage activity
• Authentication and security data needed to operate your account
• App Set ID or similar platform identifiers when used for analytics, fraud prevention, app functionality, or security. CrownCare does not use App Set ID for ads personalization or ads measurement.

2. How We Use Information

We use information to:

• Provide hair growth and hair care tracking features
• Save and organize your visual diary, routines, treatments, scans, notes, and progress reports
• Generate app insights, summaries, reminders, and educational information
• Allow you to connect with a stylist if you choose
• Display shared journey information to your connected stylist when you have granted permission
• Process subscriptions and account status
• Improve app performance, security, and reliability
• Provide support and respond to inquiries
• Comply with legal, safety, and platform requirements

3. Sharing Information With Connected Stylists

CrownCare allows users to connect with a stylist using a stylist code or approved connection method. If you choose to connect with a stylist and grant sharing permission, your connected stylist may be able to view CrownCare journey information such as:

• Hair profile
• Visual diary photos
• AI scan summaries
• Routines
• Treatments
• Product scan information
• Nutrition logs
• Journal entries
• Clinical analytics and progress reports

You may revoke stylist sharing in the app settings where available. If sharing is disabled, the stylist dashboard should no longer display your private journey data.

4. Third-Party Services

CrownCare may use trusted service providers to operate the app, including:

• Firebase/Google Cloud for authentication, database, storage, analytics, and app infrastructure
• Stripe or payment processors for subscription and payment processing
• App store platforms for subscription, app distribution, and account status
• Analytics or crash reporting tools to improve reliability and performance

We do not sell your personal hair journey data, photos, health-related logs, or journal entries to third-party data brokers.

5. Data Security

CrownCare uses reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect user data. Data may be stored using Firebase/Google Cloud infrastructure and transmitted using secure connections where supported. No system can guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your data from unauthorized access, misuse, loss, or disclosure.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain user information for as long as needed to provide CrownCare services, maintain account records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and enforce agreements.

You may request deletion of your account and associated data. When an account deletion request is completed, CrownCare will delete or de-identify associated user data unless retention is required for legitimate reasons such as security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, transaction records, or dispute resolution.

7. Account Deletion

If you created a CrownCare account, you may request deletion from within the app where available or by visiting:

Your request should include the email address associated with your CrownCare account. We may need to verify your identity before deleting account data.

8. Children’s Privacy

CrownCare is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us at crown@crowncare.net.

9. Medical Disclaimer

CrownCare is designed for cosmetic hair care tracking, organization, and educational support. CrownCare does not provide medical diagnosis, medical treatment, or professional medical advice. For medical concerns, users should consult a licensed healthcare professional.

10. International Users and Data Transfers

If you access CrownCare from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States or other locations where our service providers operate. We aim to handle personal data in accordance with applicable privacy and data protection laws.
